Regional Business Development Manager - Atlanta

The Regional Business Development Manager is responsible for selling Sipi Asset Recovery’s IT services to targeted customers in their assigned territory. The individual will actively work their existing relationships and aggressively close new business.


  • Provide the highest level of customer service
  • Identify and close new business for Sipi Asset Recovery
  • Clearly and effectively communicate Sipi Asset Recovery services to customers
  • Effectively communicate activities and customer status to Sipi Asset Recovery management
  • Drive increased market share for Sipi Asset Recovery in assigned territory
  • Assess competitive landscape
  • Sell all of Sipi Asset Recovery services and identify new service opportunities
  • Meet and exceed revenue and profitability goals for territory
  • Develop new business from existing contacts
  • Develop new business opportunities the lead generation and target account identification
  • Generate new opportunities by cold calling
  • Attend and represent Sipi Asset Recovery at industry meetings and trade shows
  • Create and effectively communicate close plans for each opportunity
  • Coordinate sales effort with marketing, accounting, customer service, and operations departments
  • Supply management with daily, weekly, monthly reporting using Microsoft CRM tools (pipeline, forecast, activities, etc.) to create and maintain a sales plan that meets and exceeds sales goals
  • Achieve activity goals related to customer contact
  • Participate in the creation and implementation of new services.


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development selling IT related B2B services
  • Bachelor of Science degree required. Advanced degrees a plus
  • Proven ability to continually close new business

Federal Sales and Business Development  

Job Purpose: To define and execute on Federal sales opportunities leading to revenue. Accomplishes the company’s business development goals by using the TargetGov FAST™ Process and clearly articulating the company’s value proposition in the federal marketplace through a variety of media, events and venues, developing relationships with partners, clients and prospective clients, researching and analyzing procurement opportunities, maintaining the CRM system and performing outreach.  Additionally, works collaboratively with business development, capture, proposal, executive, administrative and technical level personnel throughout the company to meet revenue and profit goals.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong verbal communication skills, in both individual and group settings. Active listening and ease in asking questions.

Job Duties:

  • Synthesize marketing messages and communicate strong, clear branding to targeted audiences.  This includes but is not limited to social media, website content, collateral materials, trade show booths, article placement and press releases. While not ultimately responsible for content, responsibility includes dissemination of Marketing collateral, content and tools, to foster opportunity creation.
  • Follow a prescribed discipline to research target agency’s organizational structure, strategic plans, procurement forecasts and posted solicitations, set up appointments with key decision makers and influencers, and gather and disseminate competitive/contract intelligence internally.
  • Actively participate in the Business Development pipeline meetings and follow up on action items. Update company business development/CRM data base and produce management reports.
  • Support sales activities by customizing capability statements and other collateral materials, attending vendor outreach sessions and disseminating materials to prospects and partners as requested.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional personnel to achieve the strategic goals of the company.
  • All other duties necessary to help the company achieve its growth goals.
